    Description

    All 3/4' thick wave front door substrates were hand made by first vacuum forming
    six 1/8' layers of Birch veneer and then vacuum forming the ribbon shimmer figured
    Walnut veneer to their faces. Uniform door thickness and accurate geometry was
    accomplished by applying Urea resin as the laminate adhesive.
    The serpentine solid Walnut leading top edge was formed by laminating six 1/8' X 1-1/2' X
    100" strips of black Walnut in a contoured male/female mechanical press form.
