    Description

    Vintage Tureen Masons Ironstone “BowBells” Brown Transferware 4 Piece.
    This is a gorgeous Masons ironstone BowBells 4 piece sauce tureen set. This beautiful set includes a tureen with lid, underplate and ladle. It is brown transferware with the popular BowBells pattern, featuring a scrolling floral pattern. This piece was made in England around c.1935-1940s. The condition of this piece is very good. There is age related crazing throughout the piece. The tureen has a small amount of very light staining inside. The undertray has some staining as well. The lid has a couple of spots where the transfer missed primarily on the handle and top handle. A small spot of staining near the slot for the ladle. There are no chips or cracks. Beautiful!
