    Description

    This vintage Copper Tureen is double insulated. The design includes handles for carrying convenience and feet for elevation.
    The original patina is so thick and stubborn to remove on the inside that I cannot decipher its origins.From the looks of things, the tureen has seen better days in its heyday. Today it is wrought with many battle scars of war. There are dents, bumps, and dings on the first copper layer due to its exchanging owners repeatedly, I imagine, and time has certainly contributed a significant percentage of dings along the way. I can only surmise the kind of history it has lived through, but, whatever it was like rest assured longevity is a true testament to the quality that went into handcrafting such a masterpiece. I think the dents, dings, and bumps only add charm, character, and dimension to the piece.
    The opening of the tureen measures without the handles 11-inches wide and 8-inches tall handles on both sides adds 3.5-inches, and the feet add 2-inches of height. No cover.
