    Description
    This original gameboard was recently acquired at an estate auction of a longtime collector in Western Illinois. It is appealing, desirable, & highly collectible.
    The provenance of this board game is documented on two pieces of paper that was attached to the back of the board. It was made in 1890 by L.C. Briner in Cincinnati, Ohio.
    as stated on the smaller piece of paper.
    The second piece of paper gives the purchase history of this beautiful old board. Working off the the history it was 1st purchase in 1923 by Clarence Rinderer at the Speckart sale in Highland, Illinois. In 1969 it was purchased by Bess at the Auction Center in Jamestown, Illinois.
    We acquired it at an estate auction held by Kyle Kelso Auction House in Bushnell, Illinois in January 2021.
    We present this piece exactly as it was when acquired.
    No attempts to clean this item have been made.
    This Victorian gameboard does show wear as seen in the photos. It measures approximately 22.75" x 22.75". This will make a great addition to any home or collection.
