Very rare liard from the principality of orange, minted in imitation of the very common liards from Gaston's Dombes, they take the motif of the central G but are easily differentiated by the legends:- on the reverse: soli deo honor and gloria "instead of" you dominate mea spes "for the Dombes
- on the obverse the title "Guillermus .... avr" instead of Gastonus etc
also note the presence of the central ring on the reverse;
