Traditional Corona Sensor
It will respond to all halogenated. This includes, but is not limited to: CFCs e.g.R12, R11, R500, R503 etc. HCFCs e.g. R22,R123, R124,R502 etc. HFCs e.g. R134a, R404s, R125, R1234yf etc. Blends such as AZ-50. HP62. MP39 etc.
Short Preheating Time
Once the switch rotated, the detector will be ready to use. Preheating time: 6s. Response time: 3s. Notice: Wait for 6 seconds away from the potential leakage area once the leak detector is switched on for more accurate detection or it may not give right alarm when you try to detect.

This little contraption paid for itself within just a few hours of me receiving it. I had a leak in my A/C system on a 2003 crown vic. it would only hold refrigerant for 24hrs. As soon as I was able, I put half a can of refrigerant to activate the compressor. I shut down the engine and started sniffing for the gas leak. I found it in less than 3 minutes. It was the low side pressure switch that was not tightened correctly when I changed out the accumulator after replacing the compressor. (Dummy, me!) I was very happy to find the problem and even happier to know that it was an easy fix after an error on my part.
This does what it was supposed to do. I used a UV pen and the WJL-6000 detector to find the leaks in A/C system in my wife's car. The UV pen provided a visual as to the general areas (when the system has UV dye). I then used the WJL-6000 to confirm that both hi side and low side Schrader valves were leaking. I still have another tiny leak to find, as replacing the Schader valves slowed the leak from draining the system overnight to a 3-5 day system drain.
Does the job for a cheap price. Wanted to check for a leaky AC system and its sensitive probe managed to pick up a small leak. Just be careful not to touch the probe onto anything otherwise it'll set it off.
