MATCHED PAIR PHOTOGENIC INDUSTRIAL MACHINE AGE MAGNIFIER MINI SPOT SCIENCE LAB LAMPS MOLE 1950's
DESIGN:
A stylish yet technical vintage pair of Industrial Machine Age Photogenic MiniSpot Magnifier Illuminator table spot lamps with bold geometric Industrial design details circa 1950's.
The spot direction articulates up & down via the yoke mount and the lens aperture can be fine tuned for further adjustments of the light beam. These amazing looking lamps were intended to illuminate a precise intense high powered beam of light through their lens apparatus while only taking up a minimal amount of space, they can still serve that same function in projecting a beam as a focused spot light in an interior. The original socket holds a bayonet style base hi-intensity bulb that casts a blinding beam of light. Their matching bases are typical science/medical laboratory style of that period and provide adequate support while taking up a minimum amount of space.
CONDITION
:
These striking table spot lamps are in exceptional original condition, fully intact and completely functional.
The lamps appear briefly used having just a few faint signs of wear to the wrinkle finish paint and Aluminum/Nickel plated hardware
.
The original sockets w/vintage bulbs have been inspected and appear clean, safe and functional, the wiring has been replaced with braided cotton wrapped insulated wire and has been retrofitted with their vintage in-line power switches.
DIMENSIONS:
The lamps general dimensions are 20" high x 5" wide in the shown position,  the lenses assembly is 6" long X 5" wide diameter…high intensity filament bulbs ARE included but being vintage they are included "as-is" with no inherent guarantee to how long they will work (replacements easily available elsewhere on ebay).
