PAIR of Vintage Mid Century Modern Karpen Brothers of California Lounge Chairs

Description

For your consideration is a wonderful pair of elegant mid century modern lounge chairs manufactured by the Karpen Brothers of California in the 1960s.
The chairs feature a sculptured wood (walnut, I believe) frame in ebonized black finish with round brass accents on the arms and brass sabots on the legs.
The chairs retain what appears to be the original upholstery.
Dimensions
The chairs measure 28" high, 39" wide, and 25" deep. The seat height is 15".
Condition
Structurally, both chairs are in outstanding condition and are very solid. There is normal wear on the ebonized arms (see pics). The underside dust covers are present and in excellent condition.
The upholstery is soiled and faded in spots, especially on the top and arms, with wear throughout.
This is a wonderful pair of very desirable Karpen chairs ready for your personalized touch!
