    Description

    Vintage Ceramic & Bakelite Rotary Switch
    Hubbell Incorporated, p/n 321 New in sealed foil pouch with original box
    Same type switch as was used in early Knob and Tube House wiring. Has Bakelite cover with window showing ON or OFF position settings. These were likely made for the Military based on the sealed foil envelope packaging. I opened one package to show the excellent construction and unique vintage design of these rotary switches. Top knob is removed by turning counter clockwise to allow the bakelite cover to be removed.
    SIZE: 2.5 inches in diameter
    USAGE HINT: Can be easily added to existing house wiring by mounting on blank cover plate that has access holes for the two wires going to the switch. I would connect 2 pigtail wires to the switch, then mount it on the cover plate (paint cover plate to match wall first). The cover plate should have two mounting holes to allow it to screw on to the light switch electrical box.
