Offered for purchase: Denver Omelet Mix with Raw Whole Egg Powder from Cage Free, Free Range Chickens -- Freeze Dried.
Each bag includes Raw Whole Egg Powder, equal to 2 large organic Brown Eggs, along with 1/4 cup freeze dried green bell peppers and onions, 1/4 cup freeze dried fully cooked diced ham and 1/4 cup freeze dried cheddar cheese.  This will make one large omelet or if you prefer scrambled eggs, it will make about a 2 cup serving.  Denver Omelet Scrambled Eggs are also great on toast or in a sandwich.
About Freeze Drying
Freeze drying is a low temperature dehydrating process which involves freezing the product, lowering pressure, then removing the ice by sublimation. This is in contrast to dehydration by most conventional methods that evaporate water using heat.
Freeze drying results in a high quality product because of the low temperature used in processing. The original shape of the product is maintained and quality of the re-hydrated product is excellent.
How to eat this product
Use equal amount of water to the omelet mix in this bag (approximately 1 cup of each).  Stir well and wait a little while for it to rehydrate.  Once the vegetables are soft, you are ready to prepare your omelet mix the way you want it.  Remember to use a non-stick pan or cast iron pan with butter, spray or oil to keep it from sticking.

Packaging
We seal everything in FDA & USDA compliant Mylar bags.  We include an oxygen absorber which will keep your food fresh and ready to use for years.  Once the Mylar bag is opened though, be sure to seal it tightly if there are still remaining items in the bag.  Unopened, food items in the Mylar
bag are safe for 25-30 years but once opened and exposed to air, the time drops to just a few months.
Please note: We will package the product well for shipping, but due to the freeze drying process which makes the product brittle, there could be some cracking and separating.
