Our Feddeck wholegrain rye bread is delivered in the tin and already cut. This water- and airtight packaging makes it very resistant and durable in taste. Therefore, our canned bread can be used as an emergency supply and for trekking and outdoor activities. The German Armed Forces also used this article successfully for years in their ration pack. We also obtain our rye bread directly from the suppliers of the German Armed Forces.

Wholegrain rye (61%), water, salt, yeast. May contain traces of nuts, milk and sesam.

The European bread museum Ebergoetzen near Göttingen once examined canned bread from the Second World War and after more than 50 years it was still edible! Although there is the longest experience with canned bread, it is allowed to be stamped with only 2 years of shelf life. The industry has agreed that products that are also offered in the food trade can only be awarded with a maximum of 2 years of best-before date. Another reason is the fact that the military as a wholesale customer repeatedly orders this bread again, which naturally leads to new orders.
