There is crazing on the outside and inside of the top/lid.. Does not take away from the beauty. There is no crazing on the bottom part that I have been able to see. Please see photos and enlarge pictures to see the crazing on the top part. It is a very cool item. Bird has a stately appearance. This item is made in Portugal. Please see the last photo where I try to hightlight that. It is light but visible.
