The 10-1/4-Inch Circular Saw from Makita effortlessly cuts through wood for carpentry and framing projects. It features a powerful 15-Amp motor with a maximum speed of 4,300 rpm. This Makita 10-1/4-inch circular saw is double-insulated for added safety. The blade tool is capable of performing bevel cuts at up to 50 degrees, which is useful for making corner joins. It has a maximum cutting depth of 3-13/16 inches when vertical, and 2-11/16 inches at 45 degrees. The blade case and guard on this Makita electric saw are made from magnesium for durability. The base is built from rust-proof, lightweight aluminum. An included 24-tooth carbide-tipped blade is suitable for use on commercial framing jobs. Its 5/8-inch arbor is compatible with most 10-1/4-inch blades. The handles are positioned at the front and top for efficient control. At under 17 inches long and less than 15-1/4 pounds, this tool is easy to store and carry.
