    Description

    Used condition, but works well.  Includes Makita 5090D 3-3/8" Circular Saw set up as a wet saw.  Includes a 3 3/8" Wet/Dry Masonry Cutting blade that is practically brand new.  Replacement batteries, chargers, and virtually every other part are widely available.  The product manual is available at the Makita website.  Everything is made in Japan.  It is the usual very high quality you expect from Makita.  This is a specialty tool.  But when you need it, there are not a lot of alternates I have come across.  Please study the pictures carefully.   They are an important part of the listing.  Please note:  there is some red paint on the charger and the butt of the battery.  These served as owner's markings.  If they will bother you, please do not buy this item.  But please be aware, they in no way affect performance or function.  Strictly cosmetic.
    In order to use the wet saw function, you will need some plastic tubing (I believe 5/16" or 3/8"), a small pump (like a garden pond pump, available anywhere), and a bucket of water (we used a 5 gallon bucket and it lasts a long time).  The water flow system has a valve right near the tool switch and safety, that can adjusted to regulate the flow ow water onto the blade.  The valve is a little stiff.  So you might need pliers to turn it.  And the new owner should lubricate the valve, first thing.  Water flows onto both sides of the blade with this system.  So, the blade is kept nice and cool (no warping.  Nice straight, precise cuts).
    We just used this saw to repair this giant, inlaid, tile mosaic in a local hotel lobby.  The job took a couple weeks.  The saw worked flawlessly cutting these tiny, intricately shaped pieces we held with cushioned pliers.  The manager was so pleased, he even gave us a nice bonus.
    But this saw can do lots more, too.  Limited only by your imagination.  Remember, this is not a high torque tool.  Take you time.  Be patient.  Let the speed of revolution of the blade do the work.  Avoid excessive pressure.  You will do great.
