    Very large Mottahedeh Vista Alegre “Bird of Paradise” Tureen & Lid.
    A really stunning LARGE decorative piece or even to use. Ideal on the table as a centerpiece.
    Chip to back handle (see pix) but does not show. Excellent mint condition otherwise. With bright and deep colors, gorgeous gilding and big acorn knop handle on lid. 2 different birds on each side so it is reversible. Botanical leaves etc. Clear, strong gilding with no wear. Shell design on handles.
    A VERY RARE design.
