Freeze-Dried Homemade Tomato Sauce - Garden Fresh, Long Term Storage.
Condition is "New".
Each package contains one cup freeze-dried homemade tomato sauce powder. The tomatoes, basil and oregano are fresh from our family farm.
Sauce ingredients: Low-Acid Tomatoes (San Marzano, Purple Cherokee, Pink Brandywine), garlic, onion powder, basil, oregano, salt, pepper, extra virgin olive oil.
We freeze dry and package the sauce in house. Each one cup of sauce powder is packaged in a resealable
PackFresh
7 mil mylar pint bag (6” x 7 ¼” x 3”). Each package is heat sealed above the resealable strip of the bag with a
PackFresh
oxygen absorber inside. Stored this way, the freeze-dried sauce has a 25-year storage life.
One cup tomato sauce powder + water  = 48 ounces liquid sauce.
Remove oxygen absorber and discard. Add water to powder until desired consistency achieved. Some clumping may occur which is normal, just break up the clumps before mixing with water.
Freeze-Dried products are great for long term emergency food storage. Each package weighs only a few ounces so they are lightweight and great for camping or travel.
