    Each package contains 1 cup of freeze-dried Starbursts. Just remove oxygen absorber, eat and enjoy!
    We freeze dry and package all products in house.
    Each bag of candy is packaged in a resealable 7 mil solid Mylar pint bag or PackFresh 5 mil mylar window pint bag (which bag used depends on what type is currently available for us to purchase).
    Each package is heat sealed above the resealable strip of the bag with a
    n
    oxygen absorber inside. Stored this way, these freeze-dried products have a 9-year storage life.
    Freeze dried candy often only changes slightly from its original form due to the freeze-drying process depending on the amount of moisture originally in the candy, i.e., a low-moisture candy many show very little change in appearance after freeze drying however the process still removes the moisture from the candy making it more shelf-stable.
    Freeze Dried foods are great for long term emergency food storage. Each package weighs only a few ounces so they are lightweight and great for camping or travel.
