This listing is for
ONE SEALED MRE BAG
(randomly picked from 5 different menus), 2 meals inside each bag.
These are US Government Humanitarian Daily Ration MREs, which means each bag contains 2 meals each. These are made to supply
"One day's complete food requirement for one person"
,
as printed on the front of the bag
. There are 5 different possible menus. Your MRE bag will be chosen randomly.
These were packed in March of 2019. On the outside of each box, it displays the 4-digit Julian Date Code of "9070" (meaning they were packed on the 70th day of 2019). It also displays the 3 year Inspection Date next to the red sticker called a TTI (Time & Temperature Indicator) used by the Federal Government on all cases of MREs. Each case I have in my possession have the Government TTI Red Sticker on the outside of each box. These are Time & Temperature Indicators which show whether or not they have been stored properly and if they are still in good condition. Every case in my possession show that they have been properly stored. As long as the inner circle is brighter than the outer circle, that means they have been properly stored and are in good condition. They will easily last another 7-10 years without losing flavor or nutritional value, as long as they are kept out of direct sunlight and stored at less than 80 degrees Fahrenheit
These are great to keep in your house, car, camper, boat, etc. I have plenty of people and organizations who buy them to donate themselves. With what has been going on with supply chain issues along with everything else in the world, I see it as very important that everyone has emergency food stored away. These are great as you don't have to worry about them going bad quickly, like most foods will. And each bag has "One day's complete food requirements for one person".
