19c CHAMBERLAIN WORCESTER Porcelain Imari Tureen Staple Repair Pattern 880 AS IS
MAKER: Chamberlain Worcester circa 1816-1840, New Bond St, London, England
MATERIAL: Hand Painted Porcelain - it's possible the underplate is stoneware - it's grayer (check out the large flake) and light does not show through.
PATTERN: 880
PIECE NAME: Tureen with Lid & Underplate
OVERALL DIMENSIONS: ~10 3/4" high and 12 3/8" at widest
CONDITION: Sold as is.  Lid has visible crack that has been repaired with a staple repair on the underside, crazing, staining.  Base has some crazing and staining to the interior (they appear is cracks but do not go through - the porcelain still has a  nice bright ring to it), one handle appears to have a hairline, paint wear.  Base has the large rim flake(photo 10), a chip to the foot rim, and surface wear.
