The Impreza WRX GC8C features an AWD system and an improved EJ20G 4 Cylinder turbo boxer engine now rated at 256hp. This one is mated to a 5 speed transmission and also comes with factory LSD.
The WRX line of cars go back to the early 90's and competed in rally racing against the Mitsubishi EVO, Lancia Delta Integrale, Toyota Celica GT Four, and more. In fact, the WRX won the World Rally Championship in 1995, 1996, and 1997.
The GC8C shares a similar / same drivetrain as the first generation Subaru Impreza STI and puts out more power (256 vs 250 hp).
