1983 Mercedes-Benz 300-Series factory option leather interior

Here you found a 1983 Mercedes 300CD turbo diesel coupe. Mercedes made the wonderful W123 series coupes from 1978-1985 and only from 1982-1985 with the turbo diesel version.These cars already had a reputation for being very economical and extremely reliable. When Mercedes introduced the turbo version in 1982 they now were also much more fun to drive with plenty of power and pick up.
This particular was finished in Champagne ( MB color code 473) with the rare factory option of Palomino color leather interior. It is a very elegant color combination and i have gotten several compliments on it just in the last week.
The body is straight and without any accidents. This car has always been garaged and the paint still shines like on a much newer car.
The interior is in very nice condition as, as the many pictures will show. The leather has been recently conditioned, the carpets are clean and even the original dash is in excellent condition. Please see the many pictures and they can describe this car better than i can.
Just recently i went on a 1200 miles 2 day trip and this car drives great. It has always been maintained very well and it paid off.
The tires only have about 5k miles on them. The battery is new (July 10th). The oil has just been changed, the valves adjusted and the AC has been converted to R134 and re-charged. It does blow cold. The motor mounts are new as well. All the gauges are working well. The power windows front and back , the power sunroof and the power door locks work as intended.
This is one of the few classic cars you can actually drive every day without worries and after a few years you will still get your money back , if looked after properly. Mercedes only built 8007 of them and the last few years they have only been going up in value. You constantly see them on Ebay with 400k-500k miles and still driving well. With 168k miles this one is just broken in .
I would prefer to sell this car locally to somebody who could come by and see it. But i would also be willing to help with shipping arrangements for any out of town winning bidder. (shipping cost would be their responsibility)
Please have your funding in order and do all of you "due diligence" BEFORE placing a bid. This is a wonderful well taken care off classic Mercedes and it will be sold WITHOUT a warranty.
