    1975 Cadillac Calais
    500 V8 - Automatic Transmission - California Car - Long Term Ownership
(Please note: If you happen to be viewing this vehicle on a website other than our main website, it's possible that only some of our many photographs of this car are presented due to website limitations. To be sure you access all the photographs, please go to our main website: Garage Kept Motors.)
The Calais was considered the entry level Cadillac, although it offered many luxury options, and of course the unmistakable Cadillac styling that was so familiar to Americans. This particular Calais started life in California, and was purchased by our client in 1977 who has owned it since. The car is all original and has been well cared for over the years. Perusing the photos of this car help show that this Caddy was babied over the last 43 years while in our client's ownership.
Finished in Vapour Grey, this Cadillac has an understated appearance and features the usual large egg crate grille, smooth sides, and vertical tail lights. The interesting thing that we noticed, and really like about this car, is the absence of B-Pillars. So putting all 4 windows down creates an open feel, like a "non-post" car of the 50's or 60's. It's obvious that the car was cared for when looking at the paint - it's old, but it's original and shows very well. The trim is also in great condition. The usual issues with the bumper/tail light buckets being cracked or faded are not present on this car, although there is very slight pitting on the door handle chrome.
The interior is finished in a combination of black vinyl, and plaid. Wood trim throughout and many interior options follow along with Cadillac's luxury image. Power front seat, power antenna, cruise control, auto dimming headlights, climate control, AM/FM Radio, and power windows are just a few of the notable features in this vintage Caddy. Under the hood is the original 500ci V8 mated to an automatic transmission. Steel wheels with simple disc wheel covers are wrapped in GoodYear white stripe tires.
This vintage Caddy is in great condition, with one owner caring for the car for the past 43 years. Simple, elegant styling, paired with an understated exterior color pair just right with the obviously vintage interior. Plaid and wood rule the roost inside the car, and the big V8 under the hood provides smooth power delivery to get you from point A to B confidently. Don't miss out on this special car, these don't come up for sale in this type of condition very often.

    About Garage Kept Motors
Garage Kept Motors, LLC specializes in classic and specialty online auto sales.
For our consignors, we are the only auto brokers that offer a Transparent Sale Disclosure. This means, when a car sells, we provide an exact copy of the Bill of Sale. We do this so our clients know exactly who bought their car, where it went, and most importantly how much we sold it for. No funny business.
For our buyers, our vehicles are listed on the Internet, with over 100 photos, including undercarriage pictures, and walk-around videos of the vehicles running plus a narrative-style write-up of the cars history and features. Our international exposure allows us to sell cars across the globe, and we sell a majority of them out of state and overseas. We deliver honesty and consistency in our photos and descriptions, a “no surprise” approach, so buyers, both near and far, can invest with confidence sight unseen. We are not a gallery. Vehicles can be seen locally by appointment as potential buyers are given our undivided attention.
