Description:
A beautiful very fine or better banknote from Switzerland. This is the ten Francs currency note issued by The Swiss National Bank in Bern and Zurich on March 7, 1973. The note has a purple design on red-brown underprint. The front of the note shows the bust of Gottfried Keller, the famous Swiss poet and writer, to the right with the denomination and the name of the National Bank of Switzerland in the three official Swiss languages. The back has the same color scheme as the front and a nice floral design. The note shows the denomination on the front and back in multiple locations throughout. It has three signatures and the serial number on the front. The banknote has no watermark that we could find and has no security thread. This particular note has the serial number 010031 and is series 86P. Please carefully review the scans as they are part and parcel of our description.

Condition:
I would grade this banknote as a nice very fine or better with all the details being very well preserved. The note retains quite a bit of its original sheen, stiffness and crispiness. It has light folds and light wrinkling. The note is lightly soiled but has no stains. It has no graffiti, no pinholes, no tears and no splits. The corners are intact and very well squared with minimum rounding. The edges are intact with some minor bumps and minimum roughness. A beautiful and very desirable note to add to your collection. Please see photo for additional condition information.
