Hello everyone, I have a 1966 Cadillac Deville convertible. One of the most awesome projects available on here. This car runs and drives, drive train totally original. It has 47000 showing on dashboard, we believe it to be correct. One owner car, complete, ( minus skirts) solid as a rock. This is very uncommon in older convertible cars.
The exterior: as previously mentioned, arrow straight rock solid body. Paint faded from sitting, no obvious signs of rust cookies or blistering on the body. Body lines are true. Has all mouldings attached to car. Glass is good. Bumpers are very nice, as is grille. Has set of Blackwell tires and hubcaps on it now. In idea about tires, sufficed to say, they’re probably needed. Doors fenders are perfect, quarters same.
The interior: dashboard impeccable. Seats are showing their age, weathered, cracks, but not ripped, nice set of leather seat covers should slide right on top for instant gratification, or get them re-covered professionally. The most impressive part of this particular vehicle, THE UNDER CARRIAGE. You won’t find one more clean or solid fir the money, hands down bar none. Gonna get her up on the rack and get good pictures to illustrate. Unmolested time machine. The motor does have a rist pin tick, (full disclosure).
