1953 Mercedes-Benz 300-Series 4 door phaeton

1953 Mercedes 300D convertible comes with its original 3.0 Liter straight 6 engine with a 4 speed manual transmission. Black with a Cognac interior this is one of the last examples of an all original 300D four door convertible that was made from 1952-1954. This Mercedes has not been previously seen by the public for many years.  Never being restored is the true value in this car i believe. I purchased this vehicle from the 2nd owner several years ago who has had the vehicle in private storage since the late 60's. The car runs and drives very well. The paint and interior are all original. The door panels and convertible top are also in original shape the chrome and stainless are also all original the woodgrain and dash are also nice and in good shape including the gauges as well which all do work. If you know what this Mercedes is you know its true value being original and non restored. The car is in nice shape no rust just minor paint fading through out. If you are looking for an original piece of history that you can drive in as is shape this is the one.
