Gateway Classic Cars of San Antonio/Austin is pleased to present this four-door 1941 Cadillac Series 62. Cadillac was formed in 1902 and purchased by General Motors in 1909. Already established as a premier luxury car, General Motors was able to make the Cadillac a household name as the premier American made luxury car. Cadillac has always been ahead of the curve when it comes technological advances. Including such innovations as full electrical systems including lighting and ignition systems. Cadillac was also at the forefront with the introduction of the first mass produced V-8 engine. The Cadillac Series 62 was in production from 1940-1942. Sporting a new "torpedo" low sleek body style including a more slanted windshield. With the elimination of the running boards Cadillac had the ability to lower the car by almost three inches. By 1941 the fender skirts were standard equipment and the front grille had been revised. Sales of the 62 Series reached 24,734 units sold by the end of 1941. All in part to the popularity of the new "torpedo" design and roomier interior. This four-door 1941 Cadillac Series 62 is painted in Fairoaks Green Metallic with a tan cloth interior. An abundance of flashy chrome and large rear fender skirts truly make this gorgeous Cadillac stand out in a crowd. Era correct wide whitewall tires are mounted on the factory steel wheels and hubcaps. The Cadillac Flying Lady hood ornament graces the nose in all her splendor. Cadillac's 346 cubic-inch V8 engine was the icon of the industry. This big motor carried sixty percent more displacement than what was available at Chevrolet. This kind of history makes it extra special to have the correct-style V8 under the hood today. More than just the motor, the whole engine bay appears to be highly original. It includes nice green flat heads, an original-style air cleaner, and an overall tidy style. This V8 makes plenty of torque, and when combined with the column-shifted three-speed manual transmission, this classic Caddy still knows how to cruise with comfort. Just like the exterior, the interior has the right feel of a car that has a period-correct style but with a fresher presentation. The full tan package looks sophisticated with its textured inserts in the full cloth setup. This is quite a vintage ride, and so you appreciate the texture of the large steering wheel, the action of the long column shifter, and the beauty of the symmetrical Art Deco style dash. And because rear seat comfort was just as important, this is details like a rear vent window and large fold-down armrest. So, it is comfortable for far more than just its size!.

AVAILABILITY
: We advertise our inventory across multiple websites. It is best practice to inquire about the advertised vehicle prior to purchasing in order confirm that it was not already sold. Vehicles may be sold prior to its eBay advertising ending, and we reserve the right to end advertising/listing early or to cancel any and all bids/offers solely at our discretion and shall not be held liable for any such cancellation.  In the event that a bidder has the winning bid or finalizes the buy it now price, but did not check availability and the vehicle was sold before a deposit and contracts were executed, then we are not liable nor responsible.
AS-IS WHERE-IS
: All vehicles are sold on an AS-IS WHERE-IS basis.  Having a third party inspection and addressing any concerns is recommended prior to purchase.  It is the sole responsibility of the purchaser to verify all advertisements which shall include but not limited to options, accessories, and vehicle condition before time of sale.  If the purchaser chooses to waive an inspection, the AS-IS WHERE-IS is still enforced.  Any concerns will not be addressed post sale as the sale is final without cures or remedies.
PAYMENT
: We require a non-refundable ,000 deposit within 24 hours of offer being placed.  A deposit is a commitment to purchase and is applied towards the purchase price. The commitment to purchase is not contingent upon inspection, financing, or any other terms or conditions.
We require full payment within 7 days of offer acceptance, unless other arrangements are agreed to in writing.
If the deposit and/or full payment are not provided within said time frame, all vehicles will be relisted and transaction will be considered null and void.
We accept wire transfer (preferred), cashier's check, personal check (vehicle shipment will be delayed until check clears), ACH, credit cards (for the agreed deposit amount only and will incur a 3% fee), and in person cash payments. We also offer vehicle financing, please inquire for details prior to making bids/offers.  PayPal and American Express are not accepted.
VEHICLE RELEASE
: Signed purchase packet which shall include but not limited to the purchase contract, cleared payment in full, and a copy of your driver's license will be needed before the vehicle is released.
